The 47-man team assembled at the drop zone in good time for the airdrop. The aircraft dropped 24 Fox-containers and 2 packs of Eureka (radio beacon) and ammunition. The plane made the airdrop too late, so the containers were scattered over a distance of 300 metres and in an area that was overgrown with scrub and spruce. The reception team could only find 23 containers in the dark. The next morning a small container (Eureka) was found, but the large container could not be located.
