Torstedlund drop zone


English S-phone. It was a kind of walkie-talkie used by the reception team on the ground to talk to the pilot of the aircraft who should drop containers of weapons, explosives and ammunition.

The plane first arrived at the drop zone at 03.25 so most of the team had left. The plane was instructed to fly home via the S-phone at the drop zone (walkie-talkie).
