The plane had problems opening the bomb hatches because of being fired at by the Germans. But it managed to successfully airdrop 12 Fox-containers with 54 submachine guns, 45 carbines, 2 bazookas, 4 Bren guns, 10 Colt-revolvers and 50 hand grenades.

The team was at the drop zone but no plane was spotted. The team could not have known that the Stirling plane had been hit by anti-aircraft fire over Aarhus and crashed at Skæring. 4 crew members died in the crash, and 2 were admitted to a German hospital suffering from severe burns. After the war, they were brought home to England.
