On Tuesday morning, saboteurs held up the staff but did not plant any bombs. Instead, they used the workshop's welding apparatus to pierce the hulls of two German speedboats. During the action, some Germans arrived by car and wanted to collect the boats, but instead had to see their car drive away without them. In addition, they stole a truck full of spare parts.
