The transformer station located on the street called Lygten, provided the area's factories and workshops with power. However, many of these factories worked directly or indirectly for the Wehrmacht. SOE decided the transformer station should be blasted and BOPA took on the task. One group from Holger Danske participated as coverage crew. The saboteurs were divided into three teams - the first disarmed the police officers, and the CB’s (Civil Protection Service) that kept watch at the transformer station. The other team blew up the steel door of the building and planted two 12 kg bombs (Nobel 808) in the machine room. A four-minute fuse was lit and the team left the building. The last group to leave was the coverage group who kept the crowd at a distance. A police officer fired at the saboteurs, and a gunfight ensued. The officer in question received an injury to his arm. The sabotage destroyed part of the transformer installations and blacked out large parts of the area. Already an hour after the sabotage, lighting technicians had established an emergency supply, so there was light in the area once again. Huge damage, but no compensation.
