The pavilion had previously been used as accommodation for German soldiers, and there were rumours circling that it should be used once again. Therefore, it was decided that the pavilion should be set on fire. The saboteurs used rags soaked in kerosene as an ignition agent...
The pavilion had previously been used as accommodation for German soldiers, and there were rumours circling that it should be used once again. Therefore, it was decided that the pavilion should be set on fire. The saboteurs used rags soaked in kerosene as an ignition agent. Whilst the fire raged, small explosions could be heard from the firebombs.
