A large part of the factories' production went to the Wehrmacht. The owner was a Nazi and had been "identified" in the illegal press. "Doc" broke into the factory where he planted a 5 kg explosive bomb in a large boiler on the 1st floor. He then poured petrol and oil onto sacks of sugar and planted three firebombs. A termite bomb was planted on a fully loaded truck. Shortly afterwards the bombs exploded and a fire broke out. A watchman tried to extinguish the fire and was lightly wounded when the explosive bomb blasted. The bomb was so powerful that the facade on the first floor was blown out.
