During the night there was a sabotage guard on duty, but during the day the factory was unguarded. The group had tried to sabotage the business the week before, but when the guard discovered that the telephone line had been disconnected, he sounded the alarm and the saboteurs had to flee without carrying out the attack. The next sabotage attempt, which was in the day time, succeeded. In the afternoon, 5-7 armed saboteurs entered the company, holding up workers and office staff - a total of approximately 30 people. The traffic on Nordre Fasanvej was stopped in front of the company and two explosive charges were planted in the factory workshop. The factory was partially destroyed by the explosions and some windows in the neighbourhood were shattered by the force.
