Jack Nielsen and Ebbe Wolfhagen from Holger Danske Cadet Group interned at Holmen after 29th August 1943. On 21st October, they planted a timed firebomb in the Compass Authority building. A few hours before the fire broke out, German officers had been on inspection to see the Compass office’s instruments. The sabotage was only a partial success, as the fire brigade quickly extinguished the fire. However, both building and instruments were destroyed.
