Part of the production was being delivered to the Wehrmacht. Shortly after midnight, the four sabotage guards were held up by two armed saboteurs, after which another two saboteurs were let in. The guards were subsequently taken to a shelter. The factory complex consisted of several buildings; a factory building, a formation building, a warehouse building and five smaller buildings containing a lead smelter and a workshop. An explosive charge was planted in the factory building. The explosion destroyed the company's converter station and tore off a piece of the building itself. The second explosive charge was planted in the wooden formation building. The building was severely damaged by the explosion and a section of transportable accumulators was destroyed.
