The automobile workshop, belonging to A/S W. Hubert and Co., worked mainly for the Germans - approx. 80% of the work. Six gunmen entered and disarmed the two sabotage guards. Two explosive charges were then planted in the workshop. In the explosion, two lathes, a cylinder drilling machine and some electrical testing apparatus were destroyed. All the windows in the hall, which also had skylights, and most of the extension building were shattered by the explosive force. Some firebombs also ignited a fire in the paint shop. A third, unexploded charge was found in the company's rubber warehouse.
