The company did not work for the Germans but was mistakenly identified as a target due to rumours of parachute production. The saboteurs entered the company with three cans of flammable liquid, which they poured into the company's office and factory premises. The fire department found a total of 7 fire hotbeds. The damage to the building was minor, but a large part of the weaver's yarn had caught alight.
