The company did not work directly for the Wehrmacht, but for Danish Industry Syndicate – a collaboration which was well known. A blazing fire ravaged through the joiner's work shop providing no trace of any of the sabotage materials. An unemployed joiner who had visited the company a few days earlier, was suspected of being behind the fire. During his visit, he spoke only to the Swedes, and was described as having “a searching look in his eyes”.
