Sabotage against a distribution box in a bunker at Rødslet på Rødslet Airfield 06-05-1942

Outline of the interior design of the bunker and the access conditions.

The door to the distribution central, hit by the sabotage. As there never was a window in the frame over the door and they found dirt on the lock casing on the inside of the door, it was found likely that the perpetrator must have climbed through this.

Close op of the wire board, on which the cut wires were.

The ends of the cut wires. The paper was placed to clearly show the wires against the background.

It was easy to access the bunker and the room with the distribution box. The door was locked here, but there was a large hole above the door where there should have been a pane of glass or a wooden board but this, however, had never been fitted. Therefore, it was relatively easy to access the room simply by climbing up through the hole above the door and down the other side. Several wires on the distribution board had been torn out, others had been cut or twisted so the thread ends were uncovered. The result of this attack was that part of the German long-distance network in the area had no connection.
