Eight armed men planted 4 explosive charges in the company, all while holding up the workers. The target of the attack was the factory's power plant, where at least one explosive charge was hung up on a small metal hook. Another of the charges, containing 1.3 kg of explosives (which was the type that had been previously used in similar attacks) was disassembled by a machinist before detonating. The factory had been the target of sabotage fires twice before.
