The company was destroyed using a powerful explosive charge. The factory had been at a standstill since the German occupation, as the owner did not want to work for the Wehrmacht. However, 14 days earlier it had been seized by two German officers in the company of a Danish mechanic, Skovgaard-Mortensen, who then immediately began to work on German vehicles. This only lasted for a few days, as Skovgaard-Mortensen received a funeral wreath which scared him so much that he immediately dismissed his employees and disappeared from the workshop.
