The company was next door to a cemetery from which piles of withered branches, twigs, as well as remnants of wreaths and similar waste had been collected. These were piled up to a height of 2m against the factory's building and dividing wall...
The company was next door to a cemetery from which piles of withered branches, twigs, as well as remnants of wreaths and similar waste had been collected. These were piled up to a height of 2m against the factory's building and dividing wall. After the piles had been lit, a strong wind drew the fire over the wall and into the scutching mill, which subsequently, burned to the ground.
