The workshop repaired cars for the Wehrmacht and had several German cars parked in the yard. The sabotage was carried out by pouring barrels of oil into the workshop and igniting it. In addition, they had tried unsuccessfully to set fire to the entrance of the nickel plating facility, but here the workers quickly extinguished the firebombs. With the help of the unburnt materials, the police technicians were able to conclude that the bombs were made in the same way and on the same machine as previously found bombs. The attack was one of the largest ones carried out by KOPA at this time.
