The company worked indirectly for the Wehrmacht, and was therefore a target for sabotage. Access was gained through a forced door, and then an explosive charge was planted in the workshop. In the explosion, both floor and ceiling were damaged, all the windows were blown out of their frames and the doors were torn off the hinges. All loose objects were lying around higgledy piggledy.
