The company manufactured wooden barracks which were exported to Germany. An attempt was made to burn down the barracks. The fire was relatively small although some barracks did actually burn down. Several firebombs were planted in the barracks but they did not go off simultaneously. During the clean-up operation, the fire brigade had to return to the establishment several times, as the fire had started to reignite again. There was a guard at the site, but nevertheless, the perpetrators managed to come in and out of the yard unnoticed.
