The establishment was based on the fourth floor in Hans Just’s storehouse, where they produced measuring instruments for the Wehrmacht. A fire ensued after an explosion, however due to fear of multiple explosions, the fire brigade first accessed the establishment an hour after the explosion. The fire was then so extensive that the extinguishing and cleaning work lasted all of the following day.
