Intro

The company did not work for the Wehrmacht but had received orders for 10,000 pairs of children's shoes for German civilians. The factory was probably set on fire using a mixture of turpentine and firebombs. An explosive charge was also deployed, but this did not explode...

The company did not work for the Wehrmacht but had received orders for 10,000 pairs of children's shoes for German civilians. The factory was probably set on fire using a mixture of turpentine and firebombs. An explosive charge was also deployed, but this did not explode. The entire workshop was severely damaged in the fire, which was believed to have had three different fires started there.
