The company provided cartridge cases for the Wehrmacht. The saboteurs gained access to the premises through a window, and proceeded to plant an explosive charge on a so-called "bending machine". In the explosion, some of the gears, part of the plinth and a heavy cast iron plate were blown up. Debris from the plate had scattered a radius of 10-15 metres. A desk behind the machine and the boards in the ceiling were likewise partially destroyed. Approximately half of the glass windows were smashed by the force of the explosion.
