The company Elektromekano manufactured measuring instruments and other apparatus for the Wehrmacht. In the attack, a very powerful explosive bomb was used, which was planted by six revolver-armed saboteurs. Two of these were in police uniforms. The fire damaged a number of other companies in the building as well.
