Four saboteurs forced their way into the mill and held up the guards whilst they planted a bomb in the mill’s dynamo. The mill, which suffered severe damage in the explosion, did not work for the Wehrmacht, but one of the former shift leaders was a Nazi and therefore some of the workforce had also been.
