The company performed repair work and worked almost exclusively for the Wehrmacht. It was the first sabotage which the Holger Danske group 4 (HD4) were to carry out, so experienced saboteurs (Svend Otto Nielsen "John" and Bent Faurschu Hviid "The Flame") joined as instructors. Because of the curfew, the attack was scheduled to start at 7 pm. The sabotage guard was held up, bound, and carried away. Then an explosive charge and firebombs were planted in the workshop. The saboteurs called the fire brigade and told them that bombs had been planted so they should not begin the extinguishing work too soon. The explosions destroyed the building as well as a row of cars and motorcycles.
