The company produced approx. 80% of Denmark's consumption of silk lining. The factory did not deliver directly nor indirectly to the Wehrmacht, however, they were sabotaged anyway based on unconfirmed rumors about parachute supplies. Several explosions made holes through the wall of the weaving room. This allowed the saboteurs to freely enter the company's premises. Splinters from the broken windows pierced the thin silk threads on the weaving machines, so they could no longer be used. Approximately 20,000 metres of thread was lost. In the southern corner of the weaving room, an unexploded charge was later found.
