The bookshop's display windows were shattered, and doors and the like flung out onto the street - the shop's bookshelves and books were also lying on the street. A hole in the floor down to the basement revealed where the explosive charge had detonated. The force of the explosion had shattered many windows in the area and one individual was injured. A carpenter, who was located a few doors further down the street, was hit by some glass splinters and had to go to the hospital.
