A group of approximately 20 armed saboteurs entered the premises and held up the workers and the foreman. The latter had a scuffle with a saboteur who tried to shoot him. The foreman managed to avoid being shot by striking the saboteur in the face so he fell over. Following this, the foreman was overpowered and taken away from the factory along with the workers. Besides major damage from the bomb explosions, one of the watchdogs was shot when it attacked a saboteur. After the sabotage attack against the Globe, one of the saboteurs, Jørgen Eivind "Chang" Schacht, returned to the company to pick up his punctured bike. A guard recognised him, and he was subsequently arrested and tortured. He was sentenced to death and shot the same day.
