Over a long period of time, BOPA got workers to smuggle in small quantities of explosives, which were then collected together to make a bomb of 100 kg. The company was very large, so the saboteurs decided to blow up the power plant which would take all the power from the production. The saboteurs were let in at the gate, and then they planted the bomb on one of the large diesel engines. The company was then warned by telephone and all workers left the building before the explosion. The machine house was destroyed and the company could not continue operating.
