The reception group deployed the Eureka radio beacon “Basse” at the drop zone. The three planes made three air dispatches, which totalled 66 Fox-containers and 6 packages. Only 42 Fox-containers and 3 packages were received as one of the planes airdropped some of the dispatches at Ganløse - these were then seized by the Germans. The received consignment consisted of 4 machine guns, 4 PIAT (anti-tank), 231 carbines, 744 hand grenades, 50 gammon grenades and 47 pistols. Two containers with rifles were completely crushed in the drop. Two other containers were crushed at the bottom, causing a loss of some ammunition. Many containers and their contents were rusty.

The reception group deployed the Eureka radio beacon “Basse” at the drop zone. Two dispatches were airdropped and in total there were 26 Fox-containers and 6 packages. There were so many containers that they had to be hidden away in the forest until the following day. When the team of 18 men returned the following morning to collect the containers, they were ambushed by approximately 100 German police soldiers. A gunfight ensued and four men were captured, while the remainder managed to escape. All materials were seized by the Germans. The shooting drama has since been called ”The Great Battle of Gribskov”.
