The weather was bad. The Stirling-plane could not locate the drop zone and returned to England aborting the mission. However, an airdrop occurred anyway. Two planes which were destined for other drop zones but could not locate them, airdropped all 12 Fox-containers to this drop zone. The airdrops were staggered in a timely manner. When the first shipment had been collected, and the team had left the drop zone, a new aircraft arrived and threw out 12 containers. These were first collected the following day. Many containers landed outside the drop zone but were salvaged.

The 161 Squadron Stirling aircraft with a load of 12 containers flew over the drop zone but saw no signals from the ground, so no airdrop was made.
The Danish report states that there were German patrols at the drop zone, which is why the reception team did not show up.
