On the night of September 10, two intelligence agents from the Special Intelligence Service (SIS) were dropped "blindly", i.e. without a reception team on the ground. The two SIS agents, Thomas Sneum and Sigfred Christophersen became separated during the jump – and did not see each other again until they met up in Copenhagen. Sneum, a lieutenant, had flown to England in a small aircraft in June 1941. He had brought with him information and photos of German radar stations on the west coast. He joined the SIS and became the first agent to be airdropped in Denmark. Alongside him was a telegraphist called Christophersen. Having not achieved brilliant results, Christophersen and Sneum fled to Sweden in the first few months of 1942.
