Mrs Petra Reese was employed by the Wehrmacht. Unknown saboteurs threw a bomb through the window of Petra Reese's house. However, a visiting German soldier managed to throw the bomb back out of the window before it exploded. Nobody was injured, but some windows in the neighbourhood were shattered. The following day there were raids and 12 young men were arrested.
